Into the woods project by Simón Prades (born 1985) award winning illustrator from Saarbrücken, Germany. See our post about Simón.
“I spend quiet some time walking around in the near forests.I decided to create something with the focus on the forest, its seasons and the interestingcontrasts between light and shadow — the positive and the negative space. The books “Julis Winsome” by Gerard Donovan (I really recommend it) led me to the idea of bringing a wolf/dog into this drawn story.” — Simón’s quote about “Into the woods” project.
“Images of daily newspapers have been collected and arranged in large ink drawings, filling shapes of three animals with disasters of the human race.” — Simón’s quote about “Chaos and order” project.
